Seed, meet good soil.
In Good Soil exists to answer the gardener's oldest question — what should I be planting right now? Every date in our calendar is counted from your own frost dates, not someone else's: pick your zone once and the whole year arranges itself around it.
The calendar is free and works without an account. It covers zones 5a–9b with 32 crops, each with a growing guide written for real beds, real weather, and real seasons — when to start indoors, when to transplant, when to sow again for a second harvest. A free account simply keeps your field notes and custom crops with you on every device.
It's tended by one gardener in Tennessee, with help from friends. If something looks off — a date, a guide, a bug — write anytime: hello@ingoodsoil.com.
How we keep the lights on
Some links on this site — mostly in the Tool Shed — are affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We only list tools we'd lend a neighbor. The calendar is free either way, and always will be.
